Tim joined the Bottom Mapping Working Group core team in August of this year. He recently joined the Great Lakes Observing System (GLOS) as their CIO in October and has helped shape the strategic plan and guide decisions for GLOS information systems since July 2018. He will be leading the development of the next generation technology platform and supporting the technology demonstrator development at GLOS.
Tim is a technology futurist with deep experience in marine information systems, mapping and visualization, and data management. He lives in Seattle, Washington, where he enjoys adventures with his family and dabbles in woodworking and climbing.
